I have a few ?? regarding invitations..I need to send out about 130 invitations..how many extra do you usually order...and what is a good price to budget in for invitations....or a range of prices. Thanks
We sent out 127 invitations so I ordered 150. We received about 6 extra invites and about 25 extra envelopes (inside and outside). I ordered from Invitationsbydawn.com I'm not sure if all companies are the same.
This is what we ordered:
150 invitations
150 response cards
150 reception cards
Inside and outside envelopes
the total was about $400.
Each invitation is different. It depends on the weight of the card.

I did the same amount (150) as Lisa Rose, and sent out about 128-135. The cost depends entirely on the quality of the card stock and envelope paper. We ordered very good quality, so we paid more and we had to envelopes hand-written b/c paper was too thick to fit in our printer. You might want to consider what's best for you b/c it turns out to be extra $$. I recommend either Linda Miller of Linda's Lovelies or Write Impressions in Merrick (ask for Ellen). She'll help you with deciding what will work best for your budget, and she'll even help with wording (if necessary). Good luck!
