Invitations

Invitations

I have not yet gone to look for invitations but I was hoping some of you girls may know approximately how much invitations go for?

I am totally clueless on this one.

Also, can anyone recommend where to go for invitations.

Thanks.

Hey.. I used a vendor by my house from the 'Encore' collection. I paid $1,400 for 175 invites.

Mine are Checkerboard about 1000 for 125 invites but you can find invites for any budget and are beautiful. I thought I spent a lot but I fell in love with these and the embroidery matches my dress and my theme colors

Re: Invitations

What about if you order inviations from like Party City, how much would that cost?

Re: Invitations

I was checking out some magazines with websites that make inviations for you, like exclusively weddings and rexcraft. I chose to use rexcraft-I ordered them on Tuesday night. 100 invitations for $78-I used black ink, colored ink is more. I think that my wedding invitation should look beautiful, but I know that some people just read the info, write it on the calendar and throw it out. My mother is the only person I know of who actually saves it to remember. So, I didn't want to spend a lot on it-I spent more money on the photographer/videographer.

Re: Invitations

I wanted handmade invitations that were a little different, so I got mine from you're invited - they were expensive BUT a great price for handmade paper invites.

Re: Invitations

I think we paid about $350 on 125 invites. They were the lower end too but I really liked them. I don't have the numbers in front of me but that is what is sticking out in my mind.

We paid about $500 for 100, but they are beautiful. You can pay anwhere from $200-$2000. Depends on your style and your budget. Many places offer discounts (15-20%) off the book price.
