I'm going to be looking at invitations this weekend. I plan to go to Have you Heard in Bellmore. Any other suggestions for good places in Nassau County or Brooklyn?
My other question - what kind of information do I need? I hate going to venders and feeling like a fool because I was suppose to bring this or that... this is all new to me! TIA!

I went to Have You Heard? They were expensive. I suggest Invitations & Beyond in Oceanside, they are great people with good prices. You'll find that everyone has the same books so its just a matter of finding who has the lowest price. Invites & Beyond discounts 25%.
You should think about what you want beforehand ie:
envelope liner thank yous etc.
Also keep in mind that a good place will work with you. For example, I skipped the matching thank yous and opted for something really simple. that saved a few hundred. i downgraded the envelope liner. nobody can tell. that also saved bucks. so I suggest you find out what the breakdown is once you get a price quote and work from there.

Thank you! I thought Have you Heard seemed a bit expensive, but I wasn't sure what was typical. I just checked out the website of the place you recommended and will probably go there this weekend as well - thanks for the advice!!
