I finally found ones that I really really like and they aren't anywhere near what I thought they would cost for pockets!

uggh I hear you on that- invites was by far my hardest decision- I went through a bzillion before NAPAVALLEYGRL gave me the name of a graphic designer that helped me design exactly what I wanted & her prices were great- she really worked with my budget- there are pics in my album

It took me a while to find an invite that I liked and FH also liked...it was a long process of ordering a lot of samples, but eventually we found one!

Thanks everyone...I think I am going to try the DIY...can't hurt. I figure I still have a little bit of time if I don't like what I come up with, to order...

I am having the same problem, and there are some on Stephita.com that I like, but they don't do custom samples which worries me greatly. It's a shame, because if they had a sample of what I wanted, I would order it on the spot - instead they're sending me a similar sample with color swatches...

sometimes i just don't understand the wedding business - how could you not provide a sample before purchase?

i found my invites from nictamdesigns.com working with Tammy was the best experience she actually helped me create and invitation that I can call my own and they came out amazing. You should check out her site
