Invitations

I am looking to start the process of creating my own custom invitations.

I would like to include in it an inner envelope, the actual invite, and an rsvp, and the direction card I was planning on using the ones my RH provides me with.

Do you also include a direction card to the church?

I showed FH my idea for the invitation and he said it didn't make sense to have an invitation without that 'pocketfold' look that has the matching 'directions' and 'accomodations'.

I don't know how I feel about that...I would rather have a gorgeous invite and spend my money on an embellishment like a crystal brooch for the invite than extra papers that people lose...

Do you think it looks messy to have the direction insert from the catering hall included with the formal invitation...is he right, should I have it all match?

Good Idea!

I don't know why I didn't think of that. I'm just not sure I like a pocketfold. I like a layered look with the invite on the front because I think it looks better for photos and for framing after the wedding.

Ahhh I feel like I'm in invitation hell!
