Invitations

Invitations

I am trying to budget the wedding and one thing that isn't all that important to me are the invitations. I want them to look nice of course but I don't want to spend a large portion of my budget on invitations. Does anyone have any recommendations for invitations I can order online that won't break the bank? I know you can buy DIY kits but those scare me. I would like to get the invitations, envelopes, RSVP cards, and RSVP envelopes, for around $200 for about 125. Is this unreasonable? I'm clueless.

Definitely check out InvitationsByDawn.com. That is where we are getting our invites from and we are getting all that for around that price for 125 invites.

Before placing an order with them though, definitely order some samples to see the quality first hand (some samples I got were not so nice in person) and then once you're ready to place an order, check online for discount codes because they always have some available (best I have seen is for like 25% off). They also give you free FedEx shipping on orders over $199 I think.

Re: Invitations

I just received free sample from Davids Bridal invitations section...surprisingly great quality...was recommended from an old post on the 09 board. I think I will be ordering from them.

I used vistaprint for all my stationery (STDs, invites, hotel/direction cards, etc) and i think they quality is very good. I got the 'linen' finish which I think looks very nice. Pics are in my albums.

Oh, and if you don't like any of their designs, you can design your own, that's what I did.
