Invitations

Do your invitations HAVE to match your wedding colors?

I looked at invitations at Have You Heard yesterday. Found one I LOVE ( a lil $$$$, but I really liked it)

Only thing is the colors I like it in are like a champagne and beige shimmer w/brown writing. My colors at the wedding are Navy, Silver, White and Green.

BUT the invite does match the look of the Riviera perfectly.

What do you girls think?

For some reason I keep feeling like it has to match

It doesn't HAVE to match but I think that is what the trend has been....

I think if it's neautral colors that it's totally fine. I think that those are close enough!

No one will carry the invite to your wedding to make sure it coordinates. lol

they dont HAVE to match! some people just prefer that.
but i think if its neutral its cool! Whatever u want u should do!

That's so funny bc FH said that yesterday after sitting there forever with me going back and forth about the color.

he was walking around the store with the invite in hand saying ' I doubt someone is gonna walk into the reception holding up the invite saying THIS IS BULLSH*T! This doesn't match, let's get outta here'.

I think it is a trend and that's why it's just stuck in my head bc a lot of people r matching

Idk I'm trying to figure out the same thing. My color is eggplant w/ some lighter purples and pinks. A lot of the nice invites I have seen are in champage, creams and lighter colors. I'm in the same boat as you.

It doesnt have to match.... Lots of couples want their invites to match but its not necessary! If you fall in love with an invite I say Go for it!!!
