I'm getting married in August and was wondering when you are supposed to order the invitations...I was thinking of doing it this week but wasn't sure if that was too soon.
TIA

Re: Invitations...
Definitely a bit early! I went this past week and one girl was getting married in April. I am getting married in May. All depends if youre doing custom though. I would say by April/May. Id wait for 2011 designs :o)

Re: Invitations...
It all depends if you want custom invites... Im getting married in June and i need to place the order for mine with in the next couple of weeks. I am getting custom ones done and it will take a while for them to finish. I am hoping to get them by mid February and then im sending them out at the end of march...
If you are not getting custom invites though you can definatly wait a while!!
GOOD LUCK!! THere are a lot of gorgeous designs out there and definatly more to come!!

Re: Invitations...
I'm getting married in July. We're not getting custom made invites, but we are having an art teacher that I work with write out the envelopes for us. We're ordering ours pretty soon just so that we know that he'll have enough time to write out the addresses and inner envelopes for us.
Just something to think about...

Re: Invitations...
I'm getting married in May and I already have mine. I just ordered them online when they had a sale. I did it early because I just wanted to get something over with! It was one thing that didn't depend on anything else getting done first so I got it out of the way.

Re: Invitations...
I ordered mine about a month after I had the dates & times set. Make sure you have your church (if you're having one) and reception hall booked & first deposit made before you order anything.
