Invitations

I'm starting to think about invitations. How far in advance do you need to order them? Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy them? I'm looking for a layered invite, and I love the ones that have a band around them with a monogram, but when I looked on Etsy they were all more than $5 each. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try Lavender Letter in Dix Hills. Speak to Vivian. She did mine and they came back amazing!!

Start seriously looking now. If your wedding is in the beginning of august, you will need them sent out by late May, early June. After you shop around and find what you want, they'll take up to eight weeks to produce depending on your design. You should order them by April.

My wedding is a little after yours. I am doing a layered pocketfold and putting them together myself. I would start looking NOW!!! I just got my plain cards in the mail yesterday and now I need to buy the other parts. If you are planning to assemble them yourself, you need to do it ASAP. If you are having them assembled for you, you have time to order but I'd look now!!

Sorry if I am worrying you! This is my current project!!

Do it now! I used An Invitation Sensation. She beat others pricing for the same invites. Superb customer service! Highly recommend. Very flexible with hours too.

We're getting our invitations from Whimsy B in Huntington- www.whimsyb.com ....FH and I met with them and they were so helpful with all the choices and a lot of the invitations displayed at their office had the bands around them like you mentioned- recommend contacting them!

For some reason I had such a hard time finding invitations. We went to Lion in The Sun in Huntington and they were super nice. We worked with Cheryl and she was great. Some invitation vendors are having a sale for 25 free invites through the end of march so order soon!

THIS! We got the 25 invites off discount and chose a gorgeous one. Cheryl and Cindy are awesome. My family has gotten all our event invites here for over 10 years.
