Invitations - Divorced Parents

Invitations - Divorced Parents

I am struggling with how to do the invitations. Both of my parents are remarried AND my fiance's parents are also hosting. Is this acceptable?

Dr. David X (my dad)
Mrs. Debra Y (my mother)
Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Z (fiance's parents)
request the honor of your presence
at the marriage of their children
Erica X
and
Kevin X
on ..............

Is it weird to have 3 lines of hosts. Could I just combine my parents on one line -

Dr. David X & Mrs. Debra Y
Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Z
request the honor of your presence...

If you can't tell, I don't want my step-parents on the invites. What do you think? HELP!!

We had our invitation as follows:

Mr and Mrs. XXXXXX
Mr and Mrs.XXXXX
Mr. and Mrs. XXXX
request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their chilren
Hillary x
and
Ronald x

We have only received high praise for the invites. They came out beautiful.

We had a similar situation. I think 3 lines is fine.

Re: Invitations - Divorced Parents

It's tricky...
I am doing

Because you have shared in our lives with your love and friendship we

Bride
&
Groom

Together with our parents
Request the honor of you presence as we join our lives together....

My parents are very immature. (example- when i did have their names on the invitation my dad complained because his name wasn't first)we are doing it this way so everyone is included.
