Invitations got lost in the mail....

I mailed out my invitations 2 weeks ago and already had 2 people tell me they never got their invitation. This *****! I am worried others may have not gotten their invitation either.

my coworker never got his....its ok, i just gave him my knot web page and he gave me a verbal response. i also sent him a pic of my invite..
these things happen, just make sure around your response date, if you dont hear from key people, just call to make sure.
fyi i had some responses, 2 actually, get lost in the mail

if you have any extras, mail them another one. It happens sometimes. One of my guests got an empty envelope!

I guess it happens. Wait until around response time, and whoever you did not hear from, call them.

that happened to me w/ 1 person. so i mailed her another one. i just handwrote out the address.
it's my aunt, so not a big deal.....

This happened to use twice! And we actually got one returned to us with the recipients correct address!! don't worry...it happens!!

That happened to us too. After a few weeks we contacted everyone we hadn't heard from just to ask if they got the invitation because we heard some had been lost in the mail. Most people we contacted through email, so it wasn't so bad. Also, it reminded people to send in their RSVP. I'm evil.

This happened to me too and I guess it's bound to happen when you send out so many envelopes. I just kept a spreadsheet and marked people off as they came in and then I either called or emailed those who hadn't responded by the RSVP date to see what their story was. Only one person actually said they never got the invite and another person said they mailed the RSVP to me but I guess I never got it. Like we don't have enough to worry about. Now we have to worry about the mail too?

One of my friends who didnt get her invitation finally got it today. It was post marked March 26th so it took a little over 2 weeks to get to her. Hopefully if any others are lost they will find their way too.

One of FH's cousin did not get our invitation. What makes matters worse is that FH's cousin did not come to my shower and she had said that yes she was coming, so she thought we were so pissed that we decided not to invite her to the wedding.... I think invitations lost just happens every once in awhile....
