Invitations - HELP!

Where did you get your invitations? I have no idea where to begin looking and I know time is running out. I am open to considering DIY invitations but don't know where to get them from.

There are so many options that I am getting overwhelmed! AAAHHH....

I got mine from 'Invitations by Joan' in Floral Park. She discounts 20% and doesn't charge tax or shipping. Plus, she was really good at listening to what we wanted and the FIRST invite she showed us was perfect for us. A friend of mine used her in November and recommended her highly, and I checked her out here on LIW and lots of girls used her and were happy with her.

BTW, you're getting married in September - relax! We're getting married in June and just ordered the invites last week.

Oh, one more thing: I would go to an actual vendor for invites instead of ordering online. Some online sites have nice stuff, but it's all the same stuff that the actual vendors have, and this way, you can see it in person before you buy. You wouldn't believe the cheap paper and bad quality of a lot of invitations - best to see it in person and know what you're getting. It's not like you pay more, either: the invitations we chose were $100 more expensive online than they were through Joan.

I got my invites thru my planner, but I think they were Carlson Craft, if you feel that you are running out of time maybe look at some of the online invitation companies.

ETA: I ordered my invites about 3 months before my wedding and they went out exactly 2 months prior, you have time, just try and figure out what you want

ACMoore and Michaels' both have invitation kits with all the piece parts and you print them yourself. Target has a couple also.
