Invitations might be lost - HELP

I don't really post that often on here but I really need your help.

My invitations were shipped out to me from LI to Brooklyn (where I live) on Thursday via UPS and still have not arrived. I called with the tracking number and they say that they do not know happened - they might be lost!!! the shipper has to authorize an investigation ( which she will) but I really do not know what to do if they are lost. I spent a fortune on them and I am already delayed on sending them out because the calligrapher took longer than expected.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I can't believe this is happening!

I'm so sorry this is happening to you, give it 24 hrs. The investigation will come up with results very quickly. If they are indeed lost, you will have to hike it over to party city and order something. In the end, I know you want perfect invites, butin the end, you just NEED invites. I bet they will find them and get them to you in plenty of time! GL!

I'm so sorry! Go knocking on your neighbors doors - UPS delivers to the wrong apartment all the time! Good luck!

the posr office delivered my stamps to the wrong house - on a different block. make sure they track it down1

thanks :) i called the person who sent them out and she is calling ups to authorize the investigation and hopefully i will know something tomorrow....

what does the website say about the tracking number?? when you go to ups.com and entering the tracking information--it should tell you the last time the box was scanned, its not coming up with anything?

it says it went out for delivery from Maspeth, NY (I guess their warehouse) on Friday June 15th but nothing after that.....I am sitting here with my customized stamps and direction cards all ready to go but no invites

Maspeth NY is the hub. The tracking system would definitely show if they were delivered. I would give it at least until tomorrow. Make sure they weren't signed for by somebody else though...
