Invitations not delivered

Has anyone had any problems with invitations not getting delivered? I sent mine out about 3 weeks ago and I just heard someone still hasn't received theirs. I don't want to just sent out duplicate invites

No I haven't heard anything back about not receiving. I sent mine out around the same time. I had to buy extra postage and required hand cancelling, because the ribbon's knot on the invite was too think to get through the automatic machine they use. I did get 3 returned to me for insufficient address and it took about a week and a half before the first one arrived. Is it possible that some of those guests who haven't received yet, have an apt number? That was my issue the apt #'s were missing on those 3.

We sent ours from our local post office and had no problem. We tried to mail an additional one from a different post office and we were told it was almost double the price and good luck with the other ones already sent, you'll probably get those back with insufficient postage (wanted to slap the lady).... It seems that each post office operates differently - all our invites made it to their destinations except for my brothers but his mail is lost all the time.

The whole process was stressful but I made sure to write down names of people at the post office and even called over managers to ensure delivery.

So far just one person. But how would I know that it's possibly more?

I guess if people start asking you where their invite is or when u dont get back rsvp.
Hopefully most ppl will call excited letting you know they got the invite.

So totally jinxed myself answering earlier. Got a call from my mom that her close friend thought she had been taken off the invite list because we maxed out on people! I checked my list and I had dated when I sent it out so I began to panic and text other people I sent to on that day. Turns out we had the wrong house number! Odd that no one returned it to sender though. :( I feel so horrible, she was trying not to look upset my mom said.

I've had 1 person tell us they didn't receive the invitation too and it was to a house. haven't received anything 'return to sender' yet either and it's been about 3 weeks or so. I don't like this part of the wedding planning process :(
