I just emailed an invitation vendor because I liked style. This is the price they gave me: $600 for 100 invitations plus an additional $455 for response cards. This will include basic envelopes with return address printing. These prices are negotiable depending on the type of card stock we use and the number of colors in the design. I haven't looked into invitations yet. Is this average or very pricey. Keep in mind, the invitations are 'letterpressed' I have heard that is pricier. So the real question is, is this expensive for letterpressed invitations?

I think that is OUTRAGEOUS! Please don't take this the wrong way, but in the end, most people just throw out the invites after the wedding. Don't waste so much on invites. Use it on something else that can be appreciated more.

the $600 for 100 invites didnt seem bad i paid a little more than that with the pre printed return address although i didnt not have them address them because i know people that are moving but the 455 seems a bit much on top of it. Im not sure why the response was not included in the 600. its true letterpress is expensive

That def. seems very pricey. The invites not as much as the extra $450+ for response cards. Shop around to compare rates for letterpress.

What is the brand of the invitations? Are they addressing the envelopes for you?

Yeah, I don't think that actually is a ridiculous price for letterpress. Maybe a little high if it doesn't include any inserts other than the response card/ response card envelope. But not absurd.
