invitations prices

Hello ladies.... we are up to invitations. We just received our samples from finestationary.com and on line they look so much nicer. Now I don't really want to pay a lot on the invitation but I don't want something that looks like i made them myself because for that matter, than i'll make them myself. So, does anyone know of good places, or websites for invitations that look fancy but the prices aren't? Thanks. Am thinking b/w $150 to $250-- $300 tops.

Hi!

I am working with Tessa from Evanstar Paperie. It is a website based 'company.' If you search for 'Tessa' you will see a ton of samples of work on here. You can also go to her website and see the work she has done.

I sent her an email worrying about my budget and her quote to me was 'I have never had a budget too small.'

Her work is breathtakingly beautiful! HTH!

Your best bet is to stop looking online, and actually go into an invitation store.

You will be able to see all the samples of actual in person, rather than pictures of them in catalogs or online. Pictures can be very deceiving, you can't tell what the paper quality is and the pictures are often zoomed in making things look larger than they really are.

I am getting my invitations from the american wedding:

I have requested a few different samples and they are all good quality. Take a look and see if you find anything you like...the samples are free!

I got mine in an actual store. I was disgusted with looking and looking online and not finding anything that I liked.

I got my invitations at this place called 'The Invitation Station' in Deer Park. She has tons of books. And if you tell her what your color scheme is or what you're thinking of what you want, she'll show you tons of samples. Her name is Kathy and she's VERY helpful.

I paid $400 for 150 invitations.

Same here! I ordered a bunch of samples from other sites and The American Weddings had the best quality that I had found. And the prices were great! For 100 inv & response cards, I'm spendings under $200 and they are not just plain cardstock!
