Invitations questions

So my father and I are doing the invitations through regency thermographers on line. Stupid question I have is our ceremony is at the same location as reception. Do I really need a separate reception card or can I just put at the end of the invitation 'Reception immediately following ceremony' Also, Do you really need an inner and outer envelope? We are only having the invitation, response cards with envelope and the hotel block information and directional cards inside. I don't know what the purpose of having inner and outer envelopes is? Also for the date on the invitation do you spell out August 31 or leave it regular?

Invitations questions

No you don't need a separate card. Personally I think inner and outer envelopes are a waste so I'm not doing them. If you don't want to you don't need to.
The purpose is normally you put exactly who is invited on the inner envelope. So if you have a family of four and the kids are invited you'd out their names on the inner envelope. I'm just putting and family on the outside.
Yeah you should spell out the date.

I agree with this. I am doing pocket folder invitations so the pocket folder is my 'inner envelope.' I specifically did not order the matching inner envelopes.

My ceremony and reception are at the same place so I did not do separate cards. I put 'Reception to follow' at the bottom of the invitation. People get the idea.
