Ladies any good amd affordable vendors? I ordered a sample from etsy.... I liked it but then the envelope it comes in is super flimsy... the invitation will def get destroyed. She doesn't carry thicker envelopes that match and at $1000.. i dont want to pay even more money. I dont have much time to order. I am not crafty and dont want to diy. Any suggestions? Help

Re: invitations so frustrated
I ordered from minted.com. I ordered their samples for free and their paper quality is good. If you have time, you should give it a try.How many invitations are you buying? $1000 seems like a lot of money, and I ordered 200 invitations and didn't spend that much (with a 30% off coupon).
Lots of brides order from Wedding Paper Divas (also provides free samples). I don't like the traditional, formal looking invitations, so these two sites had good options for me.
You can customize as much as you want or as little as you want. Just be on the lookout for coupons. I once saw a 40% off coupon for WPD...but that was only once.

Hey! Breathe. Can you order envelopes separately and ask her to discount the package since you're not ordering envelopes?I know a lot of great paper suppliers and could definitely help you out. Ps. What kind of invites are you getting ? Are they specialty for 1k, or just digitally printed?

I was just reading a wedding magazine and saw an ad for Cartlon Craft letterpress invites. You can go on their website and see local retailers.

Make an appointment with Stephanie from Epicure Events and Design in Bohemia. I showed her a design and she replicated it.

eloquently designed....laura came to my house and I got exactly what I wanted! She did the outside address envelopes as well. Shes the best. About $400 for 100 invites but that's with printing, lining on envelope and RSVP card and all the address's of mine that need to go on.
