i got my proof back for my invite. my mom wanted to put both parents on the top even tho his dad isnt paying lol.

sooo, in btwn their names the proof didnt say AND. i emailed the lady and she said AND isnt usually used because u wanna draw attention to the bride and grooms name and there is an AND there.

is that right???? i feel like it looks weird without the and in btwn my mom and dads name and his dad.

Mr. & Mrs. invite you to the wedding of their daughter

We thought about doing it that way because they are not giving any money towards it, but FH didn't want to because we don't know what state his dad will be in at the wedding. And if something happens just before it would be very hard for him to have that on the invites.

We are using and in between both parents names. I agree that something should be there.

Actually, my invites will not have the 'and' We kind of had to do that (accding to invitation people) because it is my dad and my step mom and then my mom and step dad and at the end it is FH's parents. So, although I never did see it like that before, with too many 'ands' it did look wierd so they told us to drop it as well.
