Re: Invite addressing ?
Full name. IMO it should never read and guest if you know their guests name.

i think that regardless of if engaged or not if you know the persons significant other you should write the whole name

ITA. FH & I get very offended when anyone we know for a long time refers to us as '& Guest' on an invitations. We actually refused to go to an e-party when someone addressed an invite to me & referred to FH as '& Guest.'

I agree. I actually sent out an invite to someone 'and guest' because I didn't know the guests full name. The problem was, when I got my invites done, they were just dating. When I mailed them, they had just gotten engaged! I wrote her a FB message apologizing profusely for the 'and guest.'

Re: Invite addressing ?
I always thought '+ guest' was for when couple didn't live together. I used to be '+1' before we moved in and I wasn't offended.
We are doing '+ guest's name' for everyone with significant others b/c we don't want to give people the option that if they break up, they can bring someone else! It's that person or nothing!

Re: Invite addressing ?
I guess it depends on the situation... like w/ me my cousin had a boyfriend then broke up with him. so i didnt bother to ask what his last name was.... i addressed her invite to 'and guest' and now i found out they got back together and got engaged! oh well...
