I am doing my own invitation addressing, but I am stuck. Do you do Mr and Mrs Blah Blah or Mr. and Mrs. Blah Blah (period or no period)? I feel like this is such a silly question, but I do not know what is the right way. I think periods, but honestly not 100% sure and do not have enough envelopes to be wrong. What did you ladies do?
Also, for the ladies who did inner envelopes: Did you write anything on the inner envelope? If so, what?

Mr. and Mrs. John Doe (always have a period since they are abbreviations) on the inner envelope you are suppose to put Mr. and Mrs. Doe. But can do what you like I put Aunt Linda and Uncle Glenn on mine since I wanted to be personal and unique but that is just me :)

Don't worry these aren't silly questions...I didn't realize all the little details until we had to do it. We did Mr. and Mrs. Doe (with periods). Though I did not use an inner envelope, I read the inner envelope is where you get really specific. Like if you addressed the outer envelope 'The Doe Family', the inner envelope is where you list out the names of who you are really inviting.
