Invite Arrival Time Question

Hello...

My catering hall has music and champagne for the half hour before our ceremony.

Do I have the invite say 6:00 for the champagne time, or 6:30 for the ceremony time? Or is there a way to word it on maybe an additional info card to have the guests know they can arrive early?

I feel like if I put 6:00, people will think that's the ceremony time and arrive even earlier, in which case, there may not be anything for them.

Invite Arrival Time Question - Long Island Weddings

Our ceremony starts at 7 but the RH told us to put 6:30 on the invite, so people get there on time. I was concerned that people would get there at 6:00 or 6:15 but they said its not a problem, they will accomodate them. I am sure there will be the early people and the late people no matter what time we put : )

I just put 1/2 before for those that are always late. Some ppl don't get this is a wedding and not some casual party where u can arrive whenever.

I did the same thing! The hall told me to put 1/2 hour before on the invites because people are always late.
