Anyone doing their own assembly? Was this able to cut costs on the each price of your invites?

Re: Invite Assembly
I cut out about $50 by placing the inserts in myself and gluing the monogram tab on the outside by myself. I'm having all of my BM's come over this weekend to help me with just those tasks

Re: Invite Assembly
i do my own assembly. i am not sure if it cut costs but i saw it pointless to have someone assemble them all if i had to take them apart to number the Responses & put stamps on the response envelopes.

Re: Invite Assembly
i personally dont think its worth it to save 50$ to spend hours doing that kind of labor. id rather stay an hour or 2 extra at work lol

Re: Invite Assembly
I am. It's saving me about $80 so I figured why not. If i didn't full assembly it would save me $100 but I don't want to worry about adding the ribbon on.

Re: Invite Assembly
all i know is that I have a huge box at home full of other smaller boxes with a bunch of different components to put together. I think it starts getting annoying when you have to use backing cards and stuff like that because you have to be on point with measurements and stuff.
If you just have to stuff envelopes/pocketfolds then its really no biggy
