Invite Dilemma...

Invite Dilemma...

I am not sure what to do here and could use any and all advice I can get...

So when I made my initial invite list I planned on inviting a few friends from work... Well I sent out STD's and shortly thereafter a woman I worked with that I sent a STD to, resigned... That was about 2 months ago and I heard from her maybe a week or 2 after she left and I havent heard from her since... The other women I work with DO hear from her but I havent...

Do I still invite her because i sent her a STD? Like I cant NOT invite her now right? Especially that the other women talk to her... =/ I mean I guess i could put the effort in as well to keep in touch with this woman so I dont feel weird abot inviting her at this point... What do you think I should do? Or what do you think I have to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! =)

if it was me..i would send her one..i mean u sent her a std so i assume u want her at the wedding? she is prob expecting an invite..but if u will never see her again u could prob get away with it..unless ur co workers now talk 2 her

If I recieved the STD, I would be expecting the invite ya know? You never know maybe she'll make it easy for you and not come

I would just send her an invite anyway since you already gave her a STD. It may be awkward because you haven't kept in touch but since your other co-workers till talk to her, it may make it weird to not invite her.

If you are not talking with her.. then you are no longer friends and you don't have to invite her. Whe cares that she keeps in contact with other people in your office? No one would expect you to invite random people esp in this ecomomy.

Closer to when you send out the invites, I would just casually mention to your co-workers that since you and she have not kept in contact, you did not invite her. this way they don't ask her if she is attending.

i kinda think that if you send them a STD, you kinda have to send the invite. but maybe since you don't really keep in touch, she'll not come anyway? and make your life a little easier? i don't know, i think that's why I'd do anyway. :o)

whatever, don't invite her if you don't want to. STD's are not signed contracts that ur inviting her. If you want to get back in contact then try to contact her. If shes unresponsive then def don't invite her

Yea see thats what I was thinking too... How do I not send an invite after Ive sent her a STD but at the same time how can you expect someone to still invite you after you havent spoken to them in 2 months, yet you call the other people we used to work with =/ Its such a sticky situation... I mean I dont have to make a decision until March so I will see what happens...

And I think she might come because the other women are def going to come... I dont know I guess I will see what happens... And let you guys know... I appreciate all the advice ladies =)))))))

i think if you send an std, she should also get an invite.... she could be having this std up on her fridge and id seriously scratch my head wondering where the invite was... i think you should just suck it up at this point and invite her and hope she doesnt come

If you sent her an STD, then you have to send her an invite. It would really be inappropriate on your part not to.

I agree, reach out to her if she does not respond then don't invite her

I think etiquette would say you have to invite people you send a save the date to. With that said, if it were me ....and I no longer spoke or saw this person and really didn't plan on in the future, I would not feel bad at all about not sending an invite. JMO.
