invite DRAMA

Why, oh why do people have all this drama attached to silly things like invites?

So: I invited a family (who grew up side-by side with me). They consist of husband, wife (my parent's age), their 2 children, and one child's wife, the other child's sig other.

Instead of writing it out on the address: I wrote out 'Smith family'. Mind that I wasn't invited to their child's wedding.

They called family member & asked to please send seperate invites to each of those childen (BOTH live in the same HOUSE). When they called: I specified that I had invited the ENTIRE family.

Grrrrrrrrrrr......just wanted to vent how people create MORE work for me.....

people really are douchbags sometimes. if you didn't invite the family, you'd get a call...when you do invite the family...you STILL get a call.

i wouldn't send another invite--sounds to me like they want another separate invite for each child so the kids can try and bring guests!

people are inconsiderate and don't remember that invites cost a ridiculous amount of money

That is so crazy!!! People think that wedding invitations grow on trees. Well, they don't!!!

The NERVE of the whole thing is...their SON got married recently.

They should know.....

for fucts sake... what a waste of trees!!!
