In a few weeks im going to attempt to make my invites even though its still a year and change away i want to start now so i can perfect them. I decided on purchasing this Pocketfolder . Then using this panel card in honeydew to print all the info for the church, RH, rsvp and direction info on these cards. I would put one in the middle of the pocketfolder then three other cards in the pocket. What program do you ladies suggest i have never used Microsoft publisher nor Powerpoint. I have only used Word and Photoshop. I also heard that if you print anything metallic with a inkjet printer that it smudges, is a laserjet better for these type of projects?I'm really nervous that i mess this up and it will be a waste of time and money. Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated. TIA

I would order a sample pack of paper and try your designs out before you buy. I spent SOOOO much time looking online at The Paper-Source . com until I finally decided to GO there (they're in Massachusetts) and feel everything for myself. It's so much harder when you don't have the products right in front of you. Anyway, I'm using WORD to print my invites - just play around with the dimensions of each piece on regular printer paper first. And YES, printing on metallic paper using an inkjet WILL smudge. I suggest asking for a laser printer for Christmas! (Or Hanukkah!) I will have pics of mine in my album soon if you want to check back. I'm making pocketfolders too! Good luck!

I think it's great that you're making your invites. It adds a special touch. I agree with the above poster. Definately get some samples to test it out before you commit to buying anythink in bulk. If you use an inkjet on metallic paper or shiny paper it will smudge. The panel card you posted doesn't have any description on it. Also, it looks like a heavy paper. Just so you know most printers do not print well on cardstock. Good luck!

The good thing about getting a laser printer is that you can print all your wedding and honeymoon pictures too. We got our moneys worth out of our printer already.

Ooo thank you for letting me know i didn't even think about that..You would just put the glossy photo paper and you could print your pics? Wow thank you for letting me know that's even more of a reason to purchase the laserjet.
