Invite List Question....Family...(Help)

I'm doing my STD's & so we had to review our wedding list. I'm tossed up on something....

I have 4 first cousins (bro/sis) in Texas that I've never met and then 1 sister/husband that I have met a few times (& she's really great & loves NY)-----do I not invite ANY of them, or do I just invite the one sister? (BTW, their mom, my aunt will most likely come)

2) I have 5 siblings----OOPS meant to say 5 first cousins-- (all married) in Lake George that I've gone to their weddings & we see e/o at funerals/weddings & maybe once a year (MOST LIKELY they would not come b/c they all have at least 2 kids) BUT then I have a close first cousin on LONG ISLAND that speaks to most of these cousins on a weekly basis & she will obviously mention my wedding to them......what should I do?

That's what we were thinking, but I'm afraid of surprises.

My mom said invite them, but just don't send STD's.

Anyone else?

I agree. I also have a few first cousins that I barely know and who live far, but my mom said just invite all the first cousins and expect that the ones who live far away won't come.

I have a similar situation with some of FH's cousins and we decided to invite them all but we didn't send any of them Save The Dates. This sounds horrible but I'm hoping that if they don't know the date ahead of time they will decide not to come since it involves travel. If our list wasn't so big to begin with I wouldn't care but we both feel like we would rather have our friends than relatives we barely know.

you should at least invite them. i cant belive your sibling wouldnt come. at least give them the option

us too...since we're getting married on a holiday weekend, we sent STDs to those we definitely wanted there at our wedding, but for everyone else, we'll invite them but hope that they'll have made other travel plans and won't be able to come!
