Invite or Don't invite?
We are inviting everybody at my FH's job but the only one we really don't care to is his boss. Here's why:1. When I was in the hospital his boss ignored his calls and texts for the night off. We know this is 100% true because FH's partner was working with the boss that night and saw him click ignore on his phone.
and
2. We went to a wedding of one of the girls he works with in April and his boss was staring at me from another table half the night. I got such a creeper feeling from him. I pointed it out to FH, he saw it and took me out of the room. He couldn't say anything because...it's his boss. We found out the next night, that a couple of the other wives saw him staring at them too and got the creeper feeling from him.
The problem: He's his boss and can make FH's life a living hell at work and we just got an invite in the mail today for a surprise 50th for his boss and FH feels that we now have to invite him.
What would you do?

Invite or Don't invite?
I would invite him. I have a few people including my boss that I have to invite. It's just one of the things that could make work harder if you didn't. Just seat thrm far away from you guys.

Invite or Don't invite?
I agree. I would invite because it may cause more problems for your FH if you don't. Plus, you don't have to give the guy more than one minute of your time the day of your wedding. You'll be busy dancing and talking to the people you actually want to spend time with.

Invite or Don't invite?
I would invite them. I wouldn't send him a STD but unfortunately I would feel obligated to invite him only because he is my boss.

Unfortunately you have to invite him. However you can sit him next to the speaker should you have DJ or right next to the band. Oh! You can always sit him next to a guest that you and FH may not be particular fans of. Keep us posted.

I agree, you have to invite him and just sit him far away from you two. Its your wedding, so you probably won't even realize that he is there. There are always those people that you 'have' to invite.

Invite or Don't invite?
If you decide to invite everyone else from FH's workplace, you're sort of obligated to invite the boss. It's one of the reasons I try not to mix business with pleasure, and while it's illegal for his boss to discriminate or mistreat your FH if he doesn't get an invite, it's a very murky/gray area, and hard to report if it did happen.

This! I know you don't want to but it's the right thing. There are a million people at your wedding so enjoy your time with them :)

Invite or Don't invite?
definitely invite him. You don't have to be near him all night but inviting him will make everything else easier. Focus on your family and friends and just say hello and then stay away from him.

Invite or Don't invite?
Thanks Ladies! We have decided that as much as we don't want to invite him, we really have to. He's the type of person that would make FH's life at work very difficult, so he will be invited and stuck in the corner.

Fingers crossed that he has a previous engagement! xx
