Invite possibility (with pic!)

FH and i went invitation shopping today. It's a miracle our relationship is surviving. He picked such ugly invites The posted pic is the one we both like so far (after looking at invites for 2 hrs!) My questions are: (1) Do you like them? (2) Do they look more elegant or morbid??--our color scheme is black and white)
When we get the invites (if we choose these), i will be tying a white satin ribbon around the closed invite to add a little beauty to the outside....do you like that idea??

I really like them alot!! Are you having any other colors besides black and white? maybe a color BM dresses or flowers? I think it would look amazing with a pop of color for your names, or even a different color ribbon!

the girls dresses are black and white...the flowers will have a burst of color and the ribbon color isnt set in stone. Once they come in im going to get a couple of different colors to see which looks best. We're doing mainly pink flowers so i may end up doing a bright pink organza ribbon and bow instead of the white satin. Pink satin will have too much of a contrast but the organza will look beautiful!

So we like the invites???? My sister liked them but didnt like the fact the scrollwork isnt symmetrical with the entire invite....i think the design is what makes it look not like a menu lol What do you think??

i love them... only thing IMO that could make them better is incorporating a third vibrate color.

I love them, I'm doing black and white as well....well black and ivory but same thing almost. My invites are somewhat similar in design as well. But yours are gorgeous, and hey, if you guys agree on them, even better.
