Invite Prices

FH wants to get our invitations through a woman he used to work with who recently started her own design co. I'm pretty clueless as far as pricing/etc. The least expensive quote was $275 for 30 invites including:
printed envelopes
2 layered invites
lined envelopes
2 layer response cards
direction/info cards
It comes to $9.17 per invite. Is this a fair price or too high?
What's the average price for a basic 2 layer invite?
Also, she told me single layer would be more as she has to outsource the printing.
Just not sure what to think!

Re: Invite Prices

I think it's a little high.

I'm having pocketfolds, w/ribbon, 2 layers and all printing done (addressing, return addressing, response card addressing) for about $7 a invite. (125)

Re: Invite Prices

IMO, that’s way too high for a layered card.

Re: Invite Prices

spending $9 per invite is A LOT ... you can get really beautiful ones for about $6 i think ... even less than that if you stay on the simple side.

Re: Invite Prices

that sounds a little expensive to me.

we got 80 layered invites for $341.

that price included layered invite, reception insert, direction card & response card, double lined envelopes, guest addressing on inner envelopes & outer envelopes & return addressing on outer envelope & printed address on response card.
