Invite printing question

I am diy'ing my own invitations... and was going to print them myself at home, but I'm having a hard time with my printer... I went to Staples at lunch today & they told me they couldn't print on my invites b/c they weren't full sheets of paper... Is there anywhere else I can go?

Re: Invite printing question

I am going to check MinuteMan this weekend... and yes, I started to use the pritner at my job, but I dont think the ink is heavy enough for the paper so it looks strange? if that makes sense.

Re: Invite printing question

I called Minuteman today & they said that they can NOT print on the pre-cut invites because they are made for ink jet printers...

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

i'm going to try a few others & then try to figure out what to do next?!

Re: Invite printing question

so I've spent MOST of my day trying to print my invites at home.. and I've GOT IT :).. my car registration may be expired (because I was supposed to go online and do that) but my I've figured out my invites!!

Can you girls proof them for me and let me know what you think?!?!

TOGETHER WITH THEIR FAMILIES

and
Keith R. (lastname)

INVITE YOU TO SHARE IN THE JOY
AND CELEBRATION OF THEIR MARRIAGE

TWO THOUSAND TEN
FIVE O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON

my questions are...

is families or famAlies?

Do I put a period (.) after reception to immed. follow?

It's families.
I'd say evening, I think 5pm is the start of evening.
As for the period, it's up to you! Just see which looks better. And it's spelled immediately (in case you didn't notice!)

Re: Invite printing question

Also, should I write

On Saturday, the twenty-sixth of June
Two Thousand Ten
AT five o'clock in the evening?

or take out the at?

Re: Invite printing question

Take out the at. I have an exclusively weddings magazine in front of me and it says

' Friday the eleventh of November
Two thousand and eleven
six o'clock in the evening' (of course all in caps)
