Invite Question...

Did anyone ever forgo the 'reception' card if they got married in a church and reception somewhere else?

i'm debating it.

it's not that amazing of a savings but every little bit helps... wondering if anyone else did it.

I didn't use it but I'm getting married at the reception hall...

I am looking for invites (desperately) and pulled out every invite I saved from weddings. My brother got married in a church and had the reception info at the bottom of the invite, no seperate card.

me too, I had to get 2 different RSVP cards so we offset the cost by putting the reception info on the invite, plus our invitation was big enough that it didn't look crowded at all...

I plan to do that, since everyone invited to the church is also invited to the reception. if that is your case, i don't see why not. SAVE THE TREES! LOL

I was going to do that anyway, but I ordered a square invite and the reception info couldn't fit without making everything look cramped. If you get a rectangle invite it should fit.

I really don't know what type of invite you're looking for, but this invite is a tri-fold and the 3rd page has the reception details written on it. I found it during my search, Invitations by Dawn - Heart to Heart
