INVITE QUESTION

Soooo--I'm an idiot too..

I didn't put FH last name on the invite. I put my parents names, request your presense at the marriage of their daughter jennifer nicole to ryan david timothy. (he has 2 middle names)

I didnt think about it until my sister told me i was an idiot because people wont know his last name to write out a check.

do you think its a big deal?

I think its a VERY big deal!

You will receive checks at the wedding written out to Mr. and Mrs. Ryan TIMOTHY!!!!!!!!

(especially since there are 3 names)

i hope most ppl invited to your wedding know fh's last name...dont worry about it, they can bring the check with them and then once they hear you announced they'll fill it out

OOooh the middle name, people might think is his last name hmmmmm, i was thinking if just his first name was written. Hopefully it will work out.

Maybe you can fill in all the checks with the last name lol

Maybe you can put it on the return envelope and people will figure it out.

I would totally re-do the invitations.

You forgot to put your future husband's last name. Think about it.

Suck it up and re-do them. What if he left off your last name?

I agree, they need to be re-printed. I also agree that people might think his last name is his second middle name. You have plenty of time to get them fixed.

Re: INVITE QUESTION

Did you put his parents name on there anywhere?

ie: Son of Mr. and Mrs. Xxxx?

This way they would know his last name (provided its the same). If not, its a pain but I would probably have them reprinted.

I doubt they will, honestly.

It will cause a ton of aggravation after the wedding when you're trying to deposit the gifts.

And if I were your DH, I think I'd be a little bit upset with invites going out that didn't have my last name on them (even if he tells you that he doesn't care ...)

So now I am thinking that I did the same thing and this is going to kill me until I get home from work at 7:30 tonight.

Kill me!

IF YOU PUT HIS PARENTS NAME ON THE INVITATION then you are totally and completely FINE!

this is what i was wondering about bc i see many invites without the brides last name next to hers or the grooms. It says both parents last names and then for bride and groom its just their first names.

FH has no idea what youre supposed to do on the invite. He had no part of picking them or writing them. I know he won't are about that..
