I pretty much asked the same question yesterday. You use Ms. for a divorced woman and if you do not know a womans marital status

You use Miss if she is a woman who is not or has never been married.

Im not sure about the 2 line thing but would like to know as well

Re: invite question

on the Ms. vs Miss thing.
Miss is used for a female under 18
Ms. Is used for a single female over 18 or if her marital status is unknown or if she's divorced (unless the divorced woman prefers Mrs.)
DEFINITELY only use Miss for the under 18 set though

agreed, you dont want to address someone over 18 with Miss, it is more for teens.

if she is divorced and went back to her maiden name you put ms.
if she kept her married name you put mrs.
