My invites are being finished as we speak. Hopefully by this weekend. I was hoping to have them out in the mail last weekend, but no dice. So...the question is....do I pick up the envelopes and send them out to be printed? Or just suck it up and address them myslef this weekend? Our wedding is OOT over a Holiday weekend and we didn't send out STD's. BUT eveyone on our small list of guests knows when it is. We have a small B list, and I know some people won't make it from the main list. Am I giving myself enough time?

Re: Invite Question...
you are definitely giving yourself enough time.
If i was you I would 100% go pick up the envelopes and get them printed - it will be so much easier and quicker and make your life so much less stressful than you doing it yourself...and honestly a couple of days (if they get backed up) will not make a difference.
We sent out our invitations LESS than 6 weeks before our wedding and I was so nervous - but it all worked out ok...

Do you know how long it takes to get the envelopes back?

Re: Invite Question...
You would be much happier (I think) having them done professionally. As long as you get them out 6 weeks before.

Re: Invite Question...
I did the one listed on here in Plainview. It was $1.00 an envelope & took a week. I think it was called All Island Calligraphy.

Re: Invite Question...
I did them myself on my home computer. It took 2.5 hours to print 175 of them, I did them one by one.

Re: Invite Question...
The place in Plainview is All Type Calligraphy and her name is Cheryl. She did them for me overnight!
