Invite Question - Divorced Parents

Invite Question - Divorced Parents

So I'm sure this has been asked before but please humor me. Both FH's parents and mine are divorced and both of our Dad's have re-married. They are all helping to pay for some of the wedding. Can we actually list everyone's name on the invite? Or should I stick with the 'Together with their parents'?

It would look something like this:

Ms. Mother of the Bride
and
Mr. and Mrs. Father of the Bride
request the honour blah blah
Julie
to
Shawn
son of
Ms. Mother of the Groom
and
Mr. and Mrs. Father of the Groom
saturday blah blah

i put together with their parents

that was the easiest thing to do

My parents are divorced and I'm having basically what you plan to. I think it works.

Since me and FH lived together (my parents are divorced as well) we wrote

KEvin and Stephanie
Along with our parents....

Blah, blah, blah

Your wording works well but I personally prefer fewer names. 'together/along with their parents' works also but if parents want their names on the invite (check with them!! everyone has an opinion on this!) then what you chose is fine....I hated doing my wording.

im in a similar boat....my parents are divorced and both remarried.....I think its nice the way you have it.....I think we will end up with something similar, when i presented the idea of 'together with our parents' my mom wasn't too hot on it

Me too. My father is remarried. He is also helping pay for more than half of the wedding.
The wording you have is good. I'm glad you showed that. It helped me out.

I have the same problem..eveyone gave a little to help FH and I out so I am honoring all parents by putting them ALL on.
yes, it is a lot but someone told me...everyone knows my family and nobody would think it is silly looking to have all parents on.
I am doing it but finding an invite that fits all comfortably is another thing.
