Invite question please give insight!

OK so I have inside and outside envelopes and I am finding it kind of dumb to write the names on the outside and inside of the envelopes. I mean it makes sense for those 'and guest' people but for everyone else it is sort of tedious and not necessary.

SOoooo

Did anyone have inside and outside and not do this?

IS there another reason why I should do this??

I dunno, maybe Im going insane, but it is strange to me. I have never gotten an invite that had this so Im not sure what to do.

Im thinking of just getting the outside ones done and then printing on my printer the inside ones of those invited with a guest.. is that cheesy?

We did pocketfold invites so we didn't even have an inner envelope. I don't think it's necessary to write the names on the inner envelope... the last 3 invites we got in the mail didn't have any writing on the inners... only the outers.

I wrote mr and mrs smith on the outside and then john and joan smith on the inside...

my friend didnt put anything on her inside envelope... only the ones that had a guest...

For us, the inner envelopes just have first names, it is a way to make the invites more personal but it is by no means required.

If you don't want inner envelopes, you don't have to do them.

Jenn - don't stress it. No one is going to think any less of you if you don't put anything on the inner envelope.

Like Jess (CaMacho,) we also did pocketfolds, and had no inner envelope, and I addressed everyone on the outside envelope formally, but like the inner when there were kids.

Ok I feel like a sane person now!!!

YAY less work for me and money to spend.

I just emailed Bill at inkspun and asked if they can do just inner envelopes on those with guest... if not Ill just write those myself.

YIPPE SKIPPE....no more crazy envelope worries.

I agree. Because I've gone insane, I did both, but I was also going to skip the inner all together. Funny, b/c when you ask single friends how to handle, they just say, 'what inner envelope?'. No one notices these things except us! THANK GOD!
