Invite Questions.. need your help

Invite Questions.. need your help

Ok, after the help you guys gave me yesterday, I put in my order for invites and last night I got back my proof. Everything seems fine… EXCEPT

On the return address.. They list us by our first names only. It has the right address but I’m not sure the postman will deliver to our house without a last name. I lived here 6months before he realized the Hispanic name belonged to someone in the house. He refused to deliver any of my mail assuming the name was wrong. Don’t know where that mail went but it was never returned (probably went across the street to the apartment complex). They have put my first name and Jim’s first name which makes it look a bit off.. Veronica & Kinpong, then the address.

Is this normal? Should I got back and have them AT LEAST put his last name in so this stuff actually gets here or should I have them put both of our last names in? Veronica XX & Kinpong XX?

Last question… anyone know how to make a PDF into something I can use to show you guys the English side? I’d love a second opinion on the proof.

TIA!

I've met our mailman (that's how I got my mail to start being delievered)

He's a sweet guy but a little slow.

Putting our last names is bad?

Why not just put the full address on it and no name?

For the return address I wouldn't worry about it. But I use your full names on the rsvp envelopes.

Etiquitte wise...it should actually only be the bride's full name (if not her parents).

But you don't have to be perfect that way. If I were you, I'd send the proof back with the correct and add BOTH your full names.

Our outer envelopes only had our street address on the flap, no names.

Just the first names seem odd to me - did they say why they did the proof like that? I've just never heard of it.

Hrm...
Just the address might work..
I don't know.

I have to call them but their out in San Fran so I must wait.. GRR

Why did they do it this way? - I don't know.

I wouldnt mind if they just has Jim's name. But i know some of my family may freak out about that. Rather have both of our names.

Our envelopes only had my parents' address on them, no names.

The RSVP envelopes are addressed to me at our address.

In your situation, I'd leave names off entirely if it would cause such commotion.

And I TOTALLY understand about the post office not being able to handle things - happens to me all the time!
