Invite #'s question

If we are looking to have around 165-185 people at our wedding how many people would you invite? I want to make sure we make our 165 minimum, but not have more than 185 because I am concerned about space issues at the hall. Is there like a typical percentage of people who reply no? I know that it probably varies by families and stuff, but I was just wondering if someone had a basis of how many people typically reply no.
