ON the back of your invitations number them (maybe on the inside fold so its hidden)

then write a corresponding list so that you know to whom each number is assigned.

That way when you get them returned if someone forgets to fillin MR. ___________ you know who its from

if you do it with a pencil on the back or inside really small no one will notice!

That is a great idea b/c my FH has a crazy aunt who likes to joke around a lot...this may sound wacky but for one of her nephews weddings...she saw they did this on the response card so thought she was real funny and collected the reponse cards from as many family members as she could and she mixed them all up! Sounds wacky but it was quite funny b/c it's so her!

So the invisible pen thing is a good idea....

That's a great idea! Too late for me- I used a regular pen- but I'll pass that one on to my friends who are getting married- where's the best place to get the invisible pens?

We decided to do the number on the rsvp and the envlepe because I remember family loosing one of either on differnt occasions and using another envelope or a note card inside saying sorry I lost it!

We did have to have our list 100% finalized before we could send out the invites and be very organized w/ the invites to make sure eveyrthing matched up but I think it's worth it!!!!
