INVITE TIP I heard...

ON the back of your invitations number them (maybe on the inside fold so its hidden)

then write a corresponding list so that you know to whom each number is assigned.

That way when you get them returned if someone forgets to fillin MR. ___________ you know who its from

I learned that tip from this website actually! I am planning on doing that - you'd be surprised how many people actually forget to write their name!

I heard about doing this on LIW a few months ago. It's a great tip! I'm gonna do it when we send out our invites

I did this and I'm SO glad that we did! There weren't many blank tho- one was blank and I shredded the return envelope and that had their return address!

Just to clarify- you number the RSVP cards- not the invitation itself....I'm passing that tip on to my friends too!

Thanks for the tip I never knew to do that and I am getting ready to get my invitations and just about finished finalizing my guest list which is giving me a headache!!!

Some people.. I just dont get it...

Do people really forget to fill in their name??

It's actually helped in the case where there are two people with the same name.

In my FH's family there are Two 'William FHLASTNAME' and Two 'James FHLASTNAME'

In both cases, it was a godsend since we don't talk to these people at all, so it would have been trouble!

I did it too. we decided not to put a name line on our RSVP's...some people were trying to figure out how we would know who the card was from...I had to give up our code LOL
