Invite wording

Finally going to order our invites this weekend!

Did you use 'honor' or 'honour' in your wording?

Also, the church is at 3:15 - how would you word that?

Thanks!

Re: Invite wording

I used 'honour'

Not sure how to word 3:15.

As suggestion maybe you could just write 'three o'clock in the afternoon'

i don't think we used either....but on a wedding invite, i think 'honour' makes it seem fancier.

ETA:

quarter past three in the afternoon HTH

Re: Invite wording

I like 'honor', 'honour' just doesn't look right to me. They say you should only use 'honour' if you're getting married in church, that might help.

For the time, I would put 'a quarter past three in the afternoon'.

honour looks better and more traditional to me so we used honour

our hall (ceremony at hall) told us to just write 11 instead of 11:30 so that if aunt fran is 20 minutes late as usual, she's actually 10 minutes early!
