Invite Wording ??

For our invites - do you think it's okay to abbreviate Turnpike to Tpke. ???

We're not doing a formal wedding - but I wanted to get opinions...

I think you should write it out. Informality can be conveyed through font, paper choices, and other visual elements.

For the invites we're using - it's a grid style and if we have Turnpike written out it's VERY tight...that's why i'm concerned...if the ink bleeds at all - it'll look bad...

First, I love the invitation!!! I don't think I have ever seen one done that way before... did you make them?
Second, I think you should try to write it out... believe me I have been in the process of making my invitations and trying to get everything to fit has been very trying.
I do think the invitation looks fine the way it is though so if it won't fit I think it will be ok.

Thank you! No - i'm not making them - they're from an online vendor... I don't really LOVE the soft lavender color - but the silver works & my FH was VERY psyched by them (and for him to be psyched about an invite is HUGE)...
