Invite wording - couple and both parents giving $$

Hi Ladies,

What is the proper etiquette for wording an invitation when the couple and both sets of parents are contributing $$ to the wedding?

Most invitations I have seen read:

Mr. & Mrs. _____ request the .....
of their daughter
______
to
_______
son of Mr. & Mrs. _________

Is this the wording for when only the bride's parents pay, since their names are at the top?

Thanks!

That can be used along with something to the effect of:

Mr. and Mrs. Brides Parents
and
Mr. and Mrs. Grooms Parents
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their children
Bride
and
Groom

Hosted by bride, groom and both families:

Emma Margaret Johnson
and Jack Warren Smith
together with their parents
invite you to join them
in celebrating their marriage
on Saturday, the fourth of June
two thousand and five
at five o'clock in the evening
St. Michael's Church
Orland Park, Illinois

Or you could put your parents' names in, too:

Emma Margaret Johnson
and Jack Warren Smith
together with their parents
Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Johnson
and Mr. and Mrs. Jack and Jill Smith
invite you to join them
in celebrating their marriage
on Saturday, the fourth of June
two thousand and five
at five o'clock in the evening
St. Michael's Church

we did the following to leave it as a general invite with all parties paying. have not seen $ from FMIL, but i am sure we will... she wont help pay for one sons wedding and not the other...

The honour of your presence is requested at the marriage of
Bride
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brides Parents
and
Groom
son of Mr. and Mrs. Grooms Parents
Date, time, place

Then on reception card (where the real money is spent) we put Please join the new Mr. and Mrs. John Doe and their family...

or you could write:

Together with their families,
Bride and Groom invite you to their wedding
Date, Time, etc.....
