Here's what i did

Step-Dad and Mom

Dad and Step-Mom

request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter

Bride

to

Groom

son of

FMIL
FFIL

both of our parents are divorced, both of mine are remarried, neither of his are.

My mom/step dad are paying for a bit more than dad/step mom... and then fil's are paying for bits and pieces.

Good luck!

Wow...that's actually an excellent compromise!

Q: What order would you put the names on the invitation? And will this be another headache?

Keep it simple! I know everyone wants their credit for helping but that would just be crazy to include all those names on the invite. Let them know that there just isn't any room on the invite for ALL the names and the information about the big day as well. Put 'Together with Our Parents'- this way you cover all the bases. This is what we did with our invites since my parents are paying for some, my FH and I are paying for most, and his mom is giving the rehersal dinner and a huge wedding gift. My FH's dad is also deceased and it would be painful to see his mom's married name on the invite since he isn't close to his step-dad. Sorry this is long- just wanted you to know you were not alone in the drama!
