Invite Wording HELP
I'm a bit confused on the invite wording. This is what I have so far:Cindy Louise
and
Raymond Joseph
together with their parents
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry XXXXX
and
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond XXXXX
invite you to share in the joy
when they exchange marriage vows
and ask God's blessings
as they begin their new life together
on Saturday, the fifteenth of July
Two thousand and six
at XXXX o’clock in the afternoon
XXXXXXXXXXXXX Church
XXXXXXXXXXXXX Avenue
XXXXXXXXXXX, New York
How is the spacing?
Do we put something about the reception on the main invite? We're going to have a reception card included.
Can you also post what wording goes on the reception card?
Thanks so much.

Re: Invite Wording HELP
did you write that yourself? it sounds nice!i would probably have your names in large font to help them stand out.
your invite might be crowded since that's a lot of writing. if you're having a reception card, don't mention the reception on the invite.
here are some reception card wordings i got off myweddinginvitations for you. i'm using R2

Re: Invite Wording HELP
This is what I had:Together with our parents
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
and
Mrs. Jane Doe
we,
Lisa Ann
&
Jack Ivan
invite you to share in the joy
when we exchange marriage vows
on Friday the nineteenth of May
Two thousand and six
at five o'clock in the afternoon
Name of Church
Address of Church
City and State
Everything was single spaced but we used a larger font size for our names.
I didn't put anything about the reception on the invite. Our reception card said:
The Celebration Continues!
Please join us for
Cocktails, Dinner and Dancing
at half past seven in the evening
Name of Catering Hall
Address
City and State
Hope this helps.
