invite wording question

do you normally put your last names or just your first and middle? How is everyone writing out their names?!?!

Re: invite wording question

I was originally just going to put first and middle but 'she' suggested I put my last name too since we don't have the parent's names on it. She said you really should have both last names somewhere on your invite. HTH

Re: invite wording question

It depends. Traditional wording, with brides parents inviting is:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter

Christina Marie

to

Alexander Walter Jones

It can also say

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith.....

Christina Marie

to

Alexander Walter

son of

Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Jones

We did

Together with their families

Jennifer Barbie Smith

and

Douglas Ken Jones

request the blah blah blah
