I am in the process of ordering invites online!!!!! I have a question... My fiance and I are also in the process for applying for a mortgage in Pennsylvania.. ( we are trying to buy my sis's house because she wants a bigger one) do I have the return address on the outer envelope, or should I make labels? Also, I am going to make the return address for the response cards my mom's address.. ( she lives in NY) the responses should still get mailed there even though I dont live with my mom right? I am being paranoid.. thanks girls

i like having the return address on the outer envelopes better then making labels... i just think it looks a bit nicer and it is one less thing to worry about... as for the address that is up to you... i wanted to order our invites while we were in the middle of buying our house, but waited until we were in that way i was 100% sure about the address... we used our address, and not either of our parents, but we are also paying for the wedding ourselves... if your parents are hosting the wedding i think their name should probably go on the response envelope... i hope that helps!

thanks for the advice.. my fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves, but we only started the process of applying for a mortgage.. my sister wants to move ou of her house by december, so I really dont want to wait that long to order invites... I am very close to my mom, thats why I have a dilemma?? I would rather use my moms return address than my fil's...

We were closing on a house two weeks after we ordered our invites, but didn't want to 'jinx' anything by putting our new address on them, so we used FH's address since he is still in his condo until next week.

what if you get an embosser with the return address and put it on the back flap of the envelope? It would look nice-- you could order when your certain about the address. Although, it obviously would add a little work for you guys.
