It took seven straight hours of work last night, but we FINALLY got all our invites stuffed, sealed and posted. FH is taking them to the post office this afternoon!
We also got the RD invites done too!

Good for you date twin! I have mine at home. Gotta get some clear labels and put them together. I should have mine out by this weekend. I can't wait till that's done. I'm sure it's a total load off your shoulders.

Thanks! FH just got back from the post office. Apparently in Manhattan (at least at the Madison Square on on Lex) they won't let you hand cancel yourself. They swore that they're not too thick for the machines, so we'll see. Apparently they would hand cancel them, but they told FH that they don't have a dedicate person for that and they would 'get to them when they got to them.' Yikes!
Still, feels great to have them out! I can't wait to start getting back the RSVP cards!
BTW, we numbered the back of all the RSVP cards and just kept a running list as we added them to each envelope. If people's performance in RSVP'ing to my shower is any indication (I know when it is, but not who is coming, and FH has been chasing down RSVPs for a week), I think more than a few of our guests will send back blank cards!
