Any recommendations for invites. Prefer diy kits, but not the only option. Lot looking to spend a crazy amount on invites.. then end up in the garbage (sorry thats just how i feel)

I have a girl who is very creating and does lots of invitations. She is not pricey and has a lot of ideas.

I got the pocketfolds from Micheal's...I think I will be testing them out next week when I am off
2 sets (60 in total) with a coupon for like 50% off it was like 30 total.

Re: Invites
I have a Brides DIY kit from Michaels. We got them on sale and used coupons, so for 150 invites with response cards and all, it came out to about $100 bucks! I couldn't justify a big invite budget.

Re: Invites
we are getting our invites from InvitationsByDawn.com and they seem to be very reasonably priced. I think they may even have some DIY kits for sale but I'm not 100% sure.
EDIT: and if you do plan on ordering from there, keep in mind that they are always offering discount codes so search for one first before placing an order.

I know this is an absolutely insane thing to do, but we purchased Martha Stewart flocking powder and glitter glue and hand flocked the invitations to give it that velvety, raised effect.
It took forever since we did everything down to the sticker seals, but it really added to the invites! Plus, my aunt did most of the work- she's amazing!!
